The first time you use the conference or dialer on each computer you'll be prompted to allow access to your camera and microphone.

  • Check for conflicting applications that might be accessing or attempting to access the microphone. You might have to close them.
  • Try unplugging and reconnecting the microphone, if applicable, to reacquire the microphone.

If you accidentally denied permission, follow these steps for your browser:

Google Chrome

If you previously blocked IS2 Conversational Intelligence access in Chrome, you will need to enable the devices in your Google Chrome settings in order to use it once again. To re-enable the Microphone:

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. In the address bar, visit: chrome://settings/content/microphone
  3. Remove any blocks for "" or ""

If you wish to re-enable your Webcam for the conference, it's similar:

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. In the address bar, visit: chrome://settings/content/camera
  3. Remove any blocks for "" or ""

Or you can enable microphone and camera access from the same page.

  1. Click the disabled camera icon in the right end of the address bar
  2. Choose Allow access...

The Safari browser seems to request permission each time. If you blocked IS2 Conversational Intelligence, try this:

  1. Click Safari in top menu
  2. Click Settings for this Website...
  3. Ensure Camera and Microphone are set to Allow

Microsoft Edge

If you have previously blocked access, just follow these steps:

  1. Click on your Start Menu > Settings (gear icon)
  2. Select Privacy
  3. Select Microphone
  4. Locate Microsoft Edge and toggle permissions to "On"

If you have previously blocked access, you can restore this simply by refreshing the page. You'll see a prompt to allow access to the camera or microphone.

Always choose "Remember this decision" so you aren't prompted each time you join.
