The Opportunities Created this Month insights card is provided out of the box (OOTB) in the InsightSquared Platform. This card provides you with preset data on all opportunities created in your pipeline in the current month, allowing you to hit the ground running. Changes can be made to best fit your needs, check out Editing from the Dashboard and Creating and Editing Insights Cards to learn more about making changes.

This card is created as a Headline Card and is seen in the dashboard as shown below:

Click on a card to expand to full report view. In report view, you will have all filters represented in data columns for all opportunities created this month. Learn more about reviewing and navigating reports here.

Content Type

This card has an opportunity content type and will filter and display data based on content from opportunities.


The opportunity content has been set to filter based on Created Date set to Relative>This>Month, which means this card is preset to include opportunities that were created within the current month, eg. July 1-July 31, 2020, and will remain in real-time. This filter is hidden in your report view since it is the basis of the card and will not need adjusting.

A set of standard filters has been set to appear and can be adjusted to best fit your needs using interactive filters or in the card editor.


The calculations for opportunity amount, count, average opportunity amount and average opportunity activity total are preset and shown in the card's subtitle.

Opportunity Amount: sum of all opportunities created this month

Count: The number of opportunities created this month

Average Opportunity Amount: average amount of all opportunities created this month

Average Opportunity Activity Total: average number of activities


This is a headline card and displays a title and brief calculations, clicking in the card will open a report view for more data and options.
